Operator

For our customer in the Goes area, we are looking for a Packaging Process Operator for a full-time job.

The function:

As a process operator you work in the packaging department. You are responsible for the operational process within the department. By making these processes run smoothly, you ensure that our products are made sustainable in the right way and according to the right standards.

To achieve this, your responsibilities consist of:

• You make the right preparations in a timely manner, based on work orders, production data and specifications: you set up or adjust the machine and check for the presence of necessary materials;
• You operate a machine and monitor the process based on data on the control panel as well as on a visual basis and correct settings during the process in case of deviations and you solve minor malfunctions;
• You check the quality of products and take appropriate action when you detect deviations;
• You have a keen eye for improvements and you take action on them;
• You carry out autonomous maintenance on the machines (cleaning, lubrication and inspection).

Your profile

• You have a level of education similar to Titulo de Técnico or Titulo de Técnico Superior
• You can read and write English at a decent level;
• Knowledge of and experience with automated systems (SCADA) are an advantage;
• Knowledge of and experience with processes and installations are an advantage;
• You are ambitious and willing to learn;
• You are flexible and willing to work shifts.
