Assistant Cook

For our catering customers in Zeeland we are looking for Assistant Cook

In this position of assistant cook you are an important and indispensable link in the hospitality industry. You and the team are responsible for delivering high quality dishes.
You are closely involved in the menu composition. It is therefore important that you like to think along and contribute ideas. In addition, you are expected to work independently with a sense of hospitality and collegiality.
You see it as a challenge to exceed the expectations of the guests. You ensure compliance with regulations in the area of hygiene and safety.

The work includes:

• Preparing (for example washing, cutting and mixing) dishes
• Preparing and / or heating of previously made dishes
• Assess the quality of ingredients such as shelf life and freshness
• Preparing easy meals according to the recipe
• Preparing the serving hatch for dishes
• Clean up and clean the kitchen

We expect:

• You are neat and efficient
• Some experience in a kitchen is a plus
• Both independently and team player
• Be responsible and comply with agreements
• Knowledge of English language, Dutch is a plus
